About the writer and Fultrot

The Fultrot Magazine is a division of SDDK Motorsports which is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the promotion of motorsport.

The word “fultrot” is papiamentu for wide-open-throttle, pedal to the metal or just full trottle, as the writer resides on the colourful island of Curaçao and uses this word a great deal himself.

Short interesting articles are written about the past, present, and future of motor sport, by Danny de Kort, who’s an amateur writer. He got his passion for the sport from his father Eddie, a rally car driver and drag racer himself.

The FulTrot Magazine is the continuation of FulTrot.blogspot.com which has a pretty decent following around the world of more than 70,000.
