Occasionally people do stuff that immediately blows you away. Other times it takes a while to sink in, which is what I experienced when I saw the video footage titled “A daredevil in Tahiti”. At first when I saw the headline grabbing picture, I thought that it was a guy (no woman would be this crazy) on his bike which was somehow attached to a surf board. But upon watching the video my jaw dropped to the desk…. Just amazing what people who allow themselves to dream, or think outside of the box, can achieve. So cool, I was cheering him all the way down the pipe!
The name is Robbie Madison, a stunt rider and surfer, as he hails from down under, is as fearless as they come. Having back-flipped the Tower Bridge in London, jumped the Corinth Canal in Greece and acted as the stunt-double for Daniel Craig in James Bonds films, he is used to setting the bar high for himself. Though he himself found the idea stupid when he conceived it, he kept working at it, changing the design and concept, until it eventually became a reality.
